How can we book a room at the hotel?

When can I check in, and when do I need to check out?
Check-in is available from 2pm, and check-out is until 11am. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day.
Do you offer any discounts on accommodations?
Privilege Club members are entitled to cash discounts on direct booking:
- Silver card 10% (for online booking),
- Gold 20%, and
- Black 50%.
Even if you are not yet a member, you can confirm your intention to join and book a room with a 10% discount.
Do you provide baby cots?
Yes, baby cots are available upon prior reservation.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Yes, pets are welcome at the hotel, with prior notice and an additional fee for their stay.
Do you offer room service?
Room service is available daily from 7am to 9pm.
Do you have connecting rooms?
No, we have two apartments available, consisting of a living room with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with two single beds. In addition, we have two rooms, each consisting of two separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
Do you have smoking and non-smoking rooms?
All rooms at the Sabotin Hotel are non-smoking. However, there are two terraces in the hotel where smoking is permitted. Smoking is also permitted in the restaurant’s summer garden.
Do you have rooms suitable for people with disabilities?
There is one room in the hotel adapted for guests with mobility impairments. Due to limited availability, we recommend booking in advance.
Can I book multiple rooms at the same time? How can I book several rooms together for a larger group?

Are there any additional charges or fees added to the room price?
The only additional charge is the tourist tax, which varies between municipalities in Slovenia. In Nova Gorica, where Sabotin hotel is located, the tourist tax is €2.50 per adult per night.
Can I pay a room using Privilege points?
Yes, you can pay for your room at Sabotin with points, provided your loyalty card balance allows it.
Is breakfast included in the price?
Yes, the price includes an overnight stay with a buffet breakfast.
Do you offer laundry or ironing services?
Yes, we offer these services during the week in the morning. Both services are performed outside the hotel for an additional fee.
Is online booking more affordable?
When booking online directly through our website, we guarantee you the best price. Privilege Club members can also use their points to pay for their room.
How do I know my online booking is confirmed?
After completing your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and restaurant.
What time is breakfast served?
For hotel guests, breakfast is served in the restaurant from Monday to Friday between 7am and 10am, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays between 7am and 11am. Upon request, it can also be served in your room for an additional service fee.
Which documents do I need to check in?
To check in, you must present a valid ID at reception, such as a passport, ID card, or driver’s license. Unfortunately, expired documents or copies cannot be accepted for your stay.
Do I need to pay for the room in advance?
Yes, unless otherwise agreed, the room must be paid in advance upon check-in.

Does Hotel Sabotin have a swimming pool and/or saunas?
No, the Sabotin Hotel does not have its own pool or saunas, but guests enjoy a 20% discount on entry to the pool and saunas at the Perla Spa, located 1 km from the hotel.

Does the hotel have conference rooms?
Yes, the Sabotin Hotel offers a space suitable for hosting business and social events, meetings, workshops, training sessions, as well as group lunches and gatherings.
Restaurant
Do I need to book a table in the restaurant?
Table reservations are not mandatory but recommended. Sometimes the restaurant is fully booked, so without a reservation, immediate availability cannot be guaranteed, and you may need to wait.
Can I rent the restaurant for a private event?
Yes, the restaurant can host private events for up to 120 people. A prior reservation is required via phone at +386 5 336 52 00, by email at hotel.sabotin@hit.si, or directly with the Head Waiter at sasa.persolja@hit.si.
Do you offer meals for children?
Yes, we prepared 5 smaller dishes that kids love most:
- Marsovček (Martian) Plate: breaded chicken fillet with fries
- Jerry Plate: fried cheese with fries
- Vesoljček (Spaceman) Plate: fried calamari with fries
- Gašper Pasta: spaghetti with Bolognese sauce
- Nodi’s Pizza: Margherita pizza with sausages and fries
After their meal, children can enjoy the playground located next to the hotel. The fenced play area is equipped with a soft ground surface for safer play.
Can I take food from the restaurant home?
Yes, all of our dishes are available for take-away. We also offer special snack packages for home or travel.
Do you offer pizzas?
Yes, we serve a wide selection of delicious wood-fired pizzas.
Are pets allowed in the restaurant?
Pets are not allowed inside the restaurant. However, they are welcome in the hotel with prior notice, and you can dine with them on the outdoor terrace.
Is the kitchen open during the whole restaurant opening time?
Yes, the kitchen is open throughout the restaurant’s hours, from 11am to 9.30pm.
Do you have daily menus?
Yes, from Monday to Friday, we offer fresh daily menus for lunch, a light meal, and a vegetarian option. On weekends, we prepare seasonal dishes.
Is half-board or full-board available?
Yes, available for organized groups with prior reservation.
Is the restaurant accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes, the restaurant is wheelchair-accessible. Additionally, two parking spaces are reserved for guests with disabilities.
Perla, Park and Drive-in casinos
What are the entry requirements for the casino?
To visit the Perla, Park and Drive-in casinos, which are part of the Hit Universe of Fun group, as well as any other casinos in Slovenia, you must be at least 18 years old and present a valid identification document upon entry. Minors are not allowed to enter.
How do the Perla, Park and Drive-in casinos operate?
Perla and Drive-in casinos: open 24/7, all year round.
Park Casino: open daily, hours as follows:
- Monday–Thursday: 9am – 3am
- Friday–Sunday: 24/7
- Some holidays: 24/7
What do I need to enter?
You need to register at the casino reception with a valid ID (passport, identity card, or driving licence) before entering the casino. You will not be allowed to enter the casino with an invalid ID or a copy of your ID.
Is there a fee to enter the casino?
Sabotin Hotel guests have free entry to the Perla, Park, and Drive-in casinos.
What kind of clothes can I wear?
There is no dress code. However, neat clothing is recommended. Shorts, flip-flops, and sportswear, as well as headgear are not welcome. There is however no need to wear an evening dress.
Can a minor enter the casino if accompanied by parents or another adult?
No, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia, minors are not allowed to enter the casino under any circumstances, not even if accompanied by parents.
Privilege Club
What is the Privilege Club and how can I join?
Privilege Club is the loyalty club of Hit Universe of Fun centers, which constantly rewards your loyalty. When you visit, stop by the hotel reception, where you will receive all the information about the benefits and fill out the membership form.
Can I join online?
Currently, you can only join the club in person at the hotel. You can also express your intent to join when booking a hotel online and immediately reserve a room at a discounted rate. The membership process will be completed upon your visit to the hotel.

How many points do I need for a particular service?
Points you collect can be redeemed for services – in Sabotin for accommodation, food, and beverages, in the Spa Perla wellness centre for all centre services, and in the Hit Universe of Fun gaming and entertainment centres for gaming. You can check how many points are required for specific services on the points price list.
I lost my Privilege card. How can I get a new one, and what happens to the points on it?
In the event of a lost card, contact staff at the hotel reception during your next visit. They will either return your lost card or issue a new one, with all previously earned benefits and points transferred to the new card.
How can I spend my accumulated points?
Points can be redeemed for accommodation, food, spa services, or gaming. Learn more here.
Do I have to be a Privilege Club member to register for the My Privilege online app?
Yes, My Privilege registration requires membership in the loyalty club. In the app, you can view your points balance, the benefits you are entitled to, receive personalized offers and invitations, and book rooms at club prices.
Where can I register for My Privilege?
Members of the club can register for the app on the My Privilege website, where you can also find a video tutorial for registration.
Where can I check my points balance?
You can check your points balance and benefits anytime in the My Privilege app or at the hotel reception.
How long do my Privilege points last?
Points are valid indefinitely as long as you visit and collect points at Hit Universe of Fun centres at least once a year. If a guest does not visit in a calendar year, points are deleted after one year. We send an email or SMS notification before deleting points to give you ample warning.
Where can I get additional information about the Privilege Club?
Additional information is available at the hotel reception.

Where can I park?
Free outdoor parking is available next to the hotel.
Is parking subject to payment?
Parking is free for hotel and restaurant guests.
Do you offer secure bike storage?
A bicycle storage room is available.
Do you have electric car charging stations?
No charging station for electric cars is available. The nearest charging point is in Nova Gorica town centre, about 1 km from the hotel.

Perla Spa
Where is Spa Perla located?
In the Perla resort, about 1 km from Sabotin Hotel.
What is the entry fee for the pool and saunas?
The current price list is available here. Sabotin Hotel guests get a 20% discount on regular entry prices.
What services does Perla Spa offer?
Spa Perla is a complete wellness centre, covering more than 1,000 m², offering saunas, pools, massages, beauty treatments, and wellness rituals. More
Is a reservation required for services at the Perla Spa?
All services require prior reservation. You can make your reservation in person at the Spa Perla reception or via telephone +386 5 336 33 33 or e-mail spa.perla@hit.si. We advise that you make your reservation at least three (3) days ahead. When making your reservation, please indicate your full name and your telephone number.
When making your reservation, you are obliged to inform the receptionist of any health problems that could be important for the chosen treatment. Pregnant women and persons with a heart condition, high blood pressure or other serious health issues are advised to consult their physician prior to any service or treatment. We may not perform massages and body treatments in the following instances: cancer, acute swelling, skin rashes, fresh wounds.
Do you accept reservations for entry to the pool and saunas?
No reservation is required. Entrance is possible until full capacity is reached. We reserve the right to limit entrance in case the pool area capacity is full, to ensure safety and adequate quality of services.
When should I arrive at Spa Perla for my reserved service?
For a pleasant start of your pampering, we kindly ask you to come to the Spa Perla centre 15 minutes before the appointment. If you are more than 5 minutes late, the treatment will be conducted in the remaining time.
How should guests who are not staying at the Perla hotel pay for the service?
Guests not staying at the Perla hotel are kindly asked to pay for the service before the treatment is conducted. We accept cash and credit card payments.
When do I need to cancel the reservation to avoid a fee?
We ask you to cancel your reservation at least three (3) hours before your appointment. If you fail to do so, we will charge you for the service, although it will not be actually rendered.
What are the rules regarding children's entry to the centre?
Children under 12 months are not allowed in the Spa centre. Only children staying at the hotel, who are older than one year, are allowed to enter the pool area if accompanied by their parents or responsible adults (between 9am and 3pm). Only persons older than 14 years are allowed to enter the saunas.
