During the 21. traditional Rose Festival in Nova Gorica, we will once again prepare a special culinary offer at Sabotin – dishes with roses.
Roses are not only a symbol of beauty and elegance, but with their delicate aroma they can also enrich culinary creations. We invite you to visit us and experience the festival through taste – with dishes inspired by roses:
- Rose gnocchi with prawns and rose oil € 13,00
- Grilled salmon with rose butter and rose salad € 18,00
- White chocolate and rose panna cotta € 6,00

Alongside the special culinary offer, the traditional Exhibition of Paintings with Roses will be on display in the lobby of Hotel Sabotin from May 12 to June 15.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on May 12, 2026 at 6.00pm.

This year’s festival offers a unique blend of natural beauty, culture, gastronomy, and wine. The heart of the event remains the beautiful collection of Bourbon roses at Kostanjevica, while this year the program is further enriched by the Friendship and Peace Wine Cellar, where you can taste selected wines from the cross-border region with a rich history.
